What I Wore in Greece — Simple Pieces I Return To

Over time, I’ve found myself returning to the same kinds of pieces.

Soft fabrics, muted tones, natural textures—clothes that feel easy to wear, but considered. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more intentional about what I buy, gradually moving away from fast fashion and towards pieces that feel like they’ll last, both in quality and in how they sit within my wardrobe.

There’s a quiet ease in knowing what works.
From the outside, it may appear repetitive—but each piece holds its own subtle difference. A shift in texture, a softer tone, a new way of falling on the body. It becomes less about variety, and more about refinement.

While travelling through Greece over Easter, I found myself returning to this instinctively. Light, breathable pieces that move with you—clothes that reflect the slower pace of the day, the softness of the air, and the ease of life by the sea.

A pair of wide-leg cotton trousers from NA-KD became something I reached for constantly. This is my second pair—light, airy, and easy to wear from morning coffee to late afternoon walks. They’re the kind of piece you don’t have to think about.

I’ve found myself returning to VRG Girl, an Australian label known for its considered cuts and quality fabrics. The dress I wore here feels quietly elevated—easy to wear during the day, with just enough structure to carry into the evening. It’s also currently on sale, and feels particularly well made for its price.

A textured knit short-sleeve cardigan from Zara was something I picked up before the trip. In a soft blue—a tone I return to often—it offered a considered layer for cooler moments.

For something more practical, I brought along a pair of pumps from H&M—easy to slip on, comfortable, and versatile enough for long days of walking or time spent by the beach.

A skirt from Whistles, worn over several summers, is something I continue to come back to. The fluid silhouette and soft blue tones feel timeless—easy to style, and quietly refined in a way that doesn’t date.

And finally, a structured drawstring dress from NA-KD—a piece I’ve had for a while, yet still return to. The ivory tone, paired with its subtle texture and close silhouette, gives it a soft, feminine quality that feels both effortless and considered.
