Spring Favourites: What’s in My Beauty Bag Right Now
I’ve never been someone who carries everything—just a few things that feel considered, familiar, and easy to reach for throughout the day. Some are new, others I’ve returned to over time—but all of them have found a place in my routine.
My spring beauty bag edit has naturally taken shape around these—an everyday collection of the products I actually use. Nothing excessive, just what I come back to again and again.
Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush Stick
I recently discovered the Baby Cheeks Blush Stick from Westman Atelier and have quietly fallen in love with it. I’ve been using Petal and Chouchette, both of which give the most gentle, natural flush—like you’ve just come in from the cold.
It blends effortlessly into the skin, almost disappearing as it settles, leaving behind a softness rather than anything too obvious. I find myself reaching for it most days, especially when I want something light and uncomplicated—just enough to bring a bit of life back into my skin.
I also have my eye on their highlighters to carry that same quiet luminosity through the rest of my make-up.
Fenty Beauty Trace'd Out Longwear Waterproof Pencil Lip Liner
Another recent purchase I’ve been reaching for constantly is the lip liner in Extra Thigh from Fenty Beauty. The tone is just right—soft, neutral, and really flattering without feeling too defined.
I’ve been pairing it with the Gloss Bomb Stix in Blaz’d Donut, and together they create the easiest combination. It pulls everything together without feeling overworked, and I love the softness of the overall finish—it feels polished, but still effortless.
Redken Acidic Color Gloss
Heat Protection spray
For hair, a product I’ve discovered this year and really love is from Redken. It gives a subtle, healthy shine without weighing the hair down—one of those small finishing touches that makes everything feel a little more put together.
I’ve worn extensions for years, and with regularly colouring my hair blonde, it’s naturally become quite damaged over time. Recently, I’ve been trying to shift my focus—being more intentional about restoring and maintaining the health of my hair, rather than just styling it.
This has quietly become a staple. It’s simple, but it makes a difference—and it’s something I know I’ll continue to repurchase.
Dr Sam’s Flawless Moisturiser Intense
A recent discovery for me has been Dr Sam's Skincare, and I’ve really fallen in love with their Flawless Moisturiser Intense.
My skin can be quite reactive to the elements, so I’m always looking for something that feels calming and reliable. This has been exactly that—it soothes flare-ups quickly and brings my skin back to a more balanced, settled state.
If your skin tends to fluctuate, I’d really recommend it. They also offer a starter kit, which feels like a thoughtful way to try a few products before committing.
Milk Makeup KUSH High Roll Defining + Volumizing Brow Tint
For brows, I use the KUSH Brow Gel from Milk Makeup, which I come back to again and again. It gives that fuller, slightly lifted look without feeling stiff or heavy.
It’s one of those products I don’t think twice about anymore—it just works. The only thing I would say is that a little goes a long way. I tend to apply a small amount and then soften it through with a separate brush for a more natural finish.
TATCHA The Water Cream
And lastly, I always return to The Water Cream from Tatcha. It creates such a light, fresh base and gives the skin a soft, dewy finish that makes everything else sit better.
I often use it almost like a primer—it preps the skin beautifully, and my make-up applies effortlessly afterwards. It’s simple, but it’s one of those products that quietly elevates everything else.
So there you have it, a small, considered edit of what I’m reaching for this spring—products that feel familiar, effortless, and quietly earn their place. Nothing excessive, just what I come back to again and again.
