Dressed Up: In Ivory & Nude Heels

Soft layers and warm ivory tones for a summer evening with friends.

This weekend, I met with some friends for dinner and found myself reaching for soft fluid layers and warm ivory tones. Lately, I have been drawn towards pieces that feel light, feminine, and a little timeless. For dinner, I paired an ivory blouse from Mango, which I have had in my wardrobe for years, although I have attached a link to a similar style, with an asymmetric Zara midi skirt. The soft draping and delicate textures give the outfit a romantic feel without being overly formal. We have had a particularly warm couple of days, and the sheer fabric meant I stayed cool throughout the evening. Finished with nude heels, also from Zara, the pointed toe brought a sense of definition to the softness of the overall look. The outfit felt simple, feminine, and perfect for a dressed-up girls' night.
